I actually noticed carrots actually have a bit of sugar in them, I’d try to aim for greener vegetables. I’m not too sure about almond milk (check the Nutrition facts, if its got a high dose of sugar AND NET CARBS (carbs - fiber = net carbs), stay away) stay away from oatmeal. All carbs are bad on this diet except the vegetables. For my protein shake I mix one scoop of cookies and cream flavored whey and double chocolate flavored whey along with some creatine. That’s pretty much it :)

Hi, Sorry for the late response!
Usually on my keto diet I just try to avoid as much sugar, carbs, and starches as possible. This includes white AND WHEAT bread, oatmeal and fruits (especially fruits). The aim here is to not create an insulin spike and force your body to create ketones and use fat as the alternative energy source because of the lack of carbs powering the body. So basically aim for meat and vegetables (this is the only source of carbs, you will get and provide you with the vitamins you need)
My usual diet looks like this:
Breakfast: Protein shake (after my workout)
Lunch: Plain unseasoned Steak with jalepeno peppers with another protein shake
Dinner: 2 Chicken breasts diced no seasoning, broccoli and 5 eggs (mixed with broccoli and scallion) and yellow mustard.
Late night: almonds and a protein shake.
Everything I make is used with a nonstick pan and no oil/butter (although on keto, oil and fat is allowed)
I would stay away from fruit because it is high in sugar and will cause an insulin spike. Honey is the same. About milk and greek yogurt I’m not quite sure on these. Read the nutrition facts, if it doesnt have sugar and carbs eat it. Salt, fat, meat is generally allowed. After a week, this will be an easy diet to keep trust me, I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life but the need for sugar after the 3rd day is like a nicotine/drug addiction looking. I felt like an addict looking for his high and the fruits in the fridge were the drugs I craved.
REMEMBER IT IS VITAL THAT YOU WORKOUT while doing this diet. Once your body starts going into keto. It will either consume fat OR muscle for energy. Usually muscle is preferred but as long as you workout and eat enough protein, your body will understand the need for your muscle and target fat instead. I’ve had great success with keto. But be warned, your strength and energy will be reduced. In the morning I also take a caffeine pill (oxyelite pro) to kick start my workout.
Also please don’t go crazy with this diet, remember its important to have a social life! One beer or one chicken nugget isn’t gonna make you a hamplanet.

That’s the ultimate revenge.
Recovering from a cold and suffering from allergies.
Itchy, watery, and blurry eyes. Sore throat. Stuffy nose. Lungs filled with sick gunk.
But there is no way I’m letting that stop or weaken my cardio, diet and my chest and tricep day. Never going to stop being stronger.
Fuck the number on the scale. Ignore it. Focus on bodyfat instead.
At 165lbs I am stronger, faster, and much leaner than I ever was at 150lbs.
My pants size has gone from 32 to 30. Just because you lost “weight” doesn’t mean you lost fat. Don’t replace a healthy diet and light exercise for starving yourself, your body will go in a state of shock and deteriorate your muscle mass and save your bodyfat making you “skinnyfat”.
I mean its like how the saying goes, “if hard work was easy, everyone would be doing it”. Be stronger than your current self!
